The Pummerin is one of the largest bells in Europe and is housed in the north tower of St. Stephen's Cathedral in Vienna. It was first cast in 1711 from the metal of captured Ottoman cannons. As a historical and cultural symbol, it holds outstanding significance in Austria and represents resilience and solidarity.
